Baroka sever ties with forwards Lucky Nguzana and David Zulu

Posted: 8 August 2018 Time: 16:30

Baroka have parted ways with strikers Lucky Nguzana and David Zulu, with the latter failing to make an appearance for the Absa Premiership side.

Nguzana has returned to the National First Division to play for Mbombela United, having initially joined Bakgaga from Ubuntu Cape Town just over a year ago.

Zulu has become the second forward to recently be released by Baroka without kicking a ball for the club - following in the footsteps of baffled Ivorian Armand Gnanduillet.

Gnanduillet was axed shortly after the arrival of new coach Wedson Nyirenda in May.

"Zulu is no longer with the club whilst Nguzana has joined Mbombela United," confirmed Bakgaga CEO Morgan Mammila.

Nyirenda's side will host Cape Town City tonight at Peter Mokaba Stadium looking to bounce back from a 1-0 defeat to AmaZulu in their first game of the season in Durban on Saturday.
