Orlando Pirates defender Sandile Mthethwa trusts coach Milutin Sredjoevic has his best interests at heart by loaning him to Richards Bay FC for the second year in a row.
The 21-year-old played 18 games for the National First Division club last season, having previously turned out for Bucs in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge following his signing in 2016.
"I want to thank Richards Bay for giving me a second chance to play for them since Orlando Pirates wants me to develop properly," Mthethwa tells KickOff.com.
"So that when I join the first team in the future I cannot face any complications.
"Coming back here didn't disappoint me because the coach wants me to develop properly so that when I come back I don't lack anything but I function perfectly.''
Mthethwa joined Pirates two years ago along with Brian Hlongwa after they represented the KZN Academy at the Durban International Tournament in 2015.
Hlongwa was loaned to Real Kings last term where he stood out, playing 29 games and being handed the captain's armband. He looks likely to stay with Bucs this campaign given his involvement in their pre-season preparations.
