Ajax Cape Town confirm Mosa Lebusa exit

Posted: 3 August 2018 Time: 13:51

Ajax Cape Town have confirmed that defender Mosa Lebusa is on his way out of the club as he looks set to be unveiled as a Mamelodi Sundowns player.

The Urban Warriors today paid tribute to the 25-year-old left-back, who is believed to have signed a deal with The Brazilians ahead of the 2018/19 season.

Kaizer Chiefs were said to be monitoring the situation of the ex-Ajax skipper, but he has since been spotted training at Chloorkop this week.

Lebusa is a graduate of the esteemed Ajax youth academy and made his step up to the professional ranks at the start of the 2012/13 campaign.

The Free State-born defender managed over 140 appearances for the Cape-based outfit, as he now seeks to move on following the club's controversial relegation to the National First Division.

Lebusa also made his Bafana Bafana debut back in 2015, after turning out for Shakes Mashaba's side in their back-to-back friendly internationals against Costa Rica and Honduras.
