Former Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Luthando Sixhaso has joined National First Division newcomers TS Galaxy.
Sixhaso was released by Chiefs a year ago after a two-year spell at Naturena, where he provided cover to Itumeleng Khune and Brilliant Khuzwayo, who has since linked up with Orlando Pirates.
Galaxy, who bought the second-tier franchise of Cape Town All Stars and have relocated to Mpumalanga, have also recruited ex-Chippa United man Sizwe Mdlinzo and unveiled former Mbombela United mentor Vusi Mkhatshwa as their head coach.
One-time Chiefs defender Muisi Ajao will serve as assistant coach to Mkhatshwa, while former Polokwane City defender Mfundo Khuzwayo will captain the side.
Galaxy boss Tim Sukazi is excited for the season ahead.
"These players have talent and I have no doubt in my mind they are going to take this team to greater heights," said Sukazi at the unveiling of a 33-man squad in KwaNdebele.
"I am confident that they will make us all proud."
