Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC are close to signing ex-Kaizer Chiefs striker Lewis Macha, according to TTM spokesman Livhuwani Madzuhe.
The Zambian forward together with Zimbabwean attacker Dominic Chunga have already played some friendlies for the Limpopo side, and despite Macha's lack of match fitness, he is said to have impressed.
"So far, it was good," said Madzuhe when asked about Macha's performance in a pre-season tournament on the weekend that included the likes of Orlando Pirates and the player's former club Baroka.
"Even [though] we realised that he might be not match-fit yes, but I think he still continues impressing us. Ja, even today [on Monday] they gave him a programme of what he should be concentrating on for him to pick up, to catch [up] with the other players."
He added: "Macha, Chunga, they gave them a programme for fitness. But so far I think they are impressing the technical team.
"Ja, Macha I can give you 98 percent [on signing him] ... because that one is also willing to go to Limpopo to revive his career.
"But before Friday you will know everything, I will call you before Friday.
"Ja, I think he is enjoying himself now. I think the way the technical team has spoken to him is what made him understand he can go down to the NFD and revamp."
Macha briefly trained with Black Leopards before personal issues cut short his trial at the Absa Premiership newcomers.
He was released by Bakgaga at the end of last term, having also spent a single season with Chiefs following his arrival in South Africa in 2016.
