Midfielder Andile Jali may have to wait a little longer to make his Absa Premiership debut for Mamelodi Sundowns.
Defending champions Sundowns take on Kaizer Chiefs at Loftus Stadium on Saturday (15h00), but look set to be without their off-season signing Jali, who is said to have sustained a hamstring injury.
The former Orlando Pirates midfielder, who made his debut against AS Togo-Port in the CAF Champions League in Lome a fortnight ago, missed out on a clash against the same side at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Friday night.
Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane, however, will not be too stressed if Jali is unavailable for the match on Saturday. He has enough depth in his squad, with the likes of Oupa Manyisa, Tiyani Mabunda and Lucky Mohomi at his disposal.
Kekana and Manyisa, who will be hoping for a better season after a slow start last term, played in the match on Friday night and did well together. They could be the pair to start in the middle of the park.
There are a number of players in the Sundowns side who will be looking to get an opportunity against Amakhosi on Saturday. The likes of George Lebese, Cuthbert Malajila and Lyle Lakay are determined to get a run, while Jose Ali Meza looks set to make his PSL debut.
