Sundowns, who sit at the bottom of Group C with two points from three games, next host AS Togo-Port on Friday looking to gain revenge from a 1-0 defeat to the Togolese outfit in Lome last week.

Defending champions Wydad Casablanca and Horoya top the pool with five points each, one more than AS Togo-Port with three matches remaining in the group stage of the continental event.

"It was a challenging game for us and we are happy that we managed to learn lessons out of that match," Kekana said referring to the recent loss in West Africa.

"We are going to play these two teams [Togo-Port and Horoya] here at home and I think it's do-or-die for us.

"We didn't take our chances in front of gols, we didn't take our chances. If I can count the number of chances that we created I'll take the whole night but it's not for me to complain ... It is for me to really, really reflect on the game and try and really improve what went wrong."

Downs, the kings of Africa in 2016, have been boosted by the return from suspension of Uruguayan attacker Gaston Sirino for the rematch at Lucas Moripe Stadium (21h00).
