Former Bidvest Wits star Papy Faty is upbeat ahead of his medical at National First Division side Real Kings.
The clubless Burundian midfielder is trying to revive his career at the KwaZulu-Natal team after a heart condition derailed his progress at Wits two years ago.
Last week the talented Faty told KickOff.com that he was ready to play again having taken some time off on doctor's orders.
"Yes, [I'm training] with Real Kings," the 27-year-old told this website on Tuesday.
"Maybe tomorrow I will sign, but this week won't end. Maybe tomorrow we'll do the medical before anything. Definitely I will pass it brother and I'm ready for it. I will be very excited being back and doing what I love the most."
KickOff.com tried to draw a comment from Kings official Tom Dlamini about the matter.
"I will need to get a permission first to reveal those we are assessing," Dlamini said.
