Black Leopards have reportedly decided against signing veteran defenders Thabiso Semenya and Ayanda Gcaba.
Semenya and Gcaba started training with Leopards at the start of July with the hopes of earning a deal under coach Joel Masutha following their respective off-season exits from Polokwane City and Orlando Pirates.
However, the experienced duo found no joy after signs were initially looking positive, according to a source at the Premiership newcomers.
"Gcaba and Semenya are gone. They are no longer training with the team," says the source.
Meanwhile, Lidoda Duvha, who won the Limpopo Soccer Legacy Spectacular in Giyani on the weekend, have been boosted by the return to full training of goalkeeper Christopher Aifimi. The Benin international sustained a serious injury last season.
