Pirates trio on the way out?

The futures of Bernard Morrison and Issa Sarr at Orlando Pirates remain uncertain as both players missed the club's annual awards ceremony and the recent pre-season camp in Zambia.
Fellow midfielder Thamsanqa Sangweni was also a notable absentee from last night's prize-giving, which saw Musa Nyatama win three accolades, including Pirates' Player of the Season gong.
Sangweni has been linked with a move to his former club Chippa United following an unproductive 2017/18 campaign for the 29-year-old.
Pirates official Floyd Mbele declined to comment on the trio's situation in Houghton.
Meanwhile, defender Nkosinathi Mthiyane has been handed his clearance by the Soweto giants, who have also loaned Siphumelele Mbulu to National First Division outfit Witbank Spurs.
"Yes, it's true, Mthiyane has received his papers from Pirates," says Mthiyane's manager Abbie Rasimphi.
"At the moment he is back home in KZN."
