Chippa boss Siviwe Mpengesi reappointed Malesela to the hotseat in May after initially firing him in September last year.

Teboho Moloi and Vladislav Heric also had spells in charge of the side last term, with the latter since being redeployed to a development role at the Port Elizabeth-based outfit.

"He [Malesela] is a great coach and he believes in us as players. He believes in a way that he wants the team to play and nothing has changed. He is still the same coach," Mayambela says.

"He still uses the same philosophy, so everyone in the team is excited to work with him. He is a coach that wants beautiful football and we will try to dish that out this season."

Mayambela plans to combine effectively with fellow skilful attacker Thabo Rakhale in the new campaign.

"Football is a game of opinions and everyone is entitled to his own. I believe that Thabo is a great player. He will play well in any team in South Africa.

"With also the change of coaches at the team last season, it didn't make things easy. But I believe that this coming season with all those expectations we might see them [being met] because it's really looking good at training."
