Ex-Wits veteran weighs up next move

Veteran defender Nazeer Allie says he won't get too excited about interest in his services unless there’s concrete offers on the table.

Maritzburg United are rumoured to be among three PSL teams after the 33-year-old.

Allie is a free agent after spending three years with Bidvest Wits, who opted against exercising a one-year option on his contract at the end of June.

“I have to be patient as my agent is attending to business,” Allie tells KickOff.com from Cape Town.

“That’s soccer and how life is and one has to take it as it comes,” he adds, referring to his exit from the Students.

“I’m aware there are a few clubs showing interest but I won’t get too excited until there’s concrete offers on the table. Only then I know how serious clubs are in my services.

“Otherwise I will have to be patient and wait for what my agent negotiates,” concludes the former Ajax Cape Town star.
