Orlando Pirates coach Micho takes Zakhele Lepasa and Augustine Mahlonoko to Zambia for pre-season

KickOff.com understands that Orlando Pirates have offered young striker Zakhele Lepasa a first team contract.

Lepasa has impressed in the SAB League for Pirates and is set to be joined by another academy product Augustine Mahlonoko in Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic's squad this season, according to a source at the club.

The duo jetted off to Zambia on Tuesday along with Micho and company for a second training camp after the Buccaneers had a stint in Nelspruit.

"Both Lepasa and Mahlonoko have been with the senior team since they went for pre-season training in Nelspruit," says the source.

"Lepasa looks like he has been offered a first team contract. He has been banging in goals with the reserve team."

The Sea Robbers have also signed Brilliant Khuzwayo, Vincent Pule, Ben Motshwari, Asavela Mbekile, Linda Mntambo, Paseka Mako, Abel Mabaso, Meschack Maphangule and Kudakwashe Mahachi ahead of their return to CAF football in 2018/19.
