Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says he would not mind finishing second in their group in the CAF Champions League.
Sundowns will resume their continental quest for glory with a trip to Togolese side AS Togo-Port on July 17 at Stade Municipal.
The Brazilians drew their opening two pool matches against Horoya and Wydad Casablanca, but Mosimane is confident they will still advance to the next round of the competition.
"You know how it is in the group, you have to be smart. It is not how you start," Mosimane said.
"You must box cleverly. You must remember now this year is not number one in Group A playing runners-up in Group B.
"Sometimes you will want to finish first to avoid this. Now everyone goes into the pot, so you want to make sure you qualify and know you are seeded somewhere.
"If you ask me what I want, I would say I want Wydad to win against Horoya at home. Even if they can go to Horoya and draw, it will keep Horoya with one point more than us with two games.
"Really one win for us, we are equal with them and they are still coming here. I just wish Wydad luck because they are gone now. They are number one. It is the same with Zamalek when they hoped us to beat Enyimba so that they must qualify and they went to the final with us [in 2016]."
AS Togo-Port were thumped 3-0 by Wydad and lost 2-1 to Horoya, but Mosimane insists his charges will not be taking their upcoming opponents lightly.
"I have seen them when they played Horoya, to be honest they were not that bad. Horoya scored in the last two minutes and it was that kind of a game where the goal came.
"Not to say Horoya dominated them. They missed chances. We think we can beat Horoya here. We think we can beat the Togolese team here and we could have beaten Wydad. That's why I was angry about that loss because I knew that if we beat Wydad I knew what would have happened."
