Cape Town City chairman John Comitis expects to watch a rejuvenated Ayanda Patosi hit the back of the net on a regular basis in the new season.
The 25-year-old, who scored six times in 25 matches in all competitions in 2017/18, found himself in trouble with Comitis in April for ill-discipline.
But Comitis says the forward, who joined City as a free agent in June last year, is looking especially sharp and focused in pre-season.
"You must leave a space for me there to comment on Patosi when he starts putting the ball in the net (laughs)," Comitis tells KickOff.com.
"Everyone is gonna be shocked when Patosi starts scoring every game. You must see this guy, he is on fire.
"He was on 30 percent of his ability and he's come back with a high focus, six kilos less. He is very, very something else this time."
The Citizens have bolstered their arsenal with the recent signing of wingers Riyaad Norodien and Gift Links.
