The agent of FC Barcelona defender Yerry Mina has opened up about his future amid links with a lucrative switch to the Premier League after an impressive FIFA World Cup campaign.
Mina, 23, recently came out to say he has nothing to prove to the LaLiga giants despite being outcasted by the club - who are looking to fill their final foreign quota spot with Brazilian midfielder Arthur Melo.
Just seven months after joining the Blaugrana from Brazilian outfit Palmeiras, the towering defender has been strongly linked with Liverpool, Everton and Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
However, his agent and uncle Jair Mina has refuted the claims in English press that he's closing in on a move to Merseyside.
"I'm not aware of any bids," Mina told RAC1. "He has a contract with Barcelona and wants to stay at Barcelona.
"We're going to see what the situation is with the club, but we don't have any information [regarding a move].
"He moved in January to succeed at a big club and Barca are a big club. He is convinced he will get the chance to do big things and our idea is that he stays where he is."
Mina scored three goals in as many games at Russia 2018, including one against England before their last-16 penalty shoot-out elimination.
