Bongi Ntuli is no longer pushing for a move away from Mamelodi Sundowns as he aims to finally win the favour of coach Pitso Mosimane.

Last month Ntuli made clear his desire to leave the club having only made two substitute appearances for the Brazilians since his signing in 2014 from Golden Arrows.

However, he has since recommitted himself to the Absa Premiership champions, dampening speculation he could join any one of reported suitors Bidvest Wits, AmaZulu and Maritzburg United.

"Yes, we've communicated to the club that Bongi wants to fight for the jersey and we'll not be entertaining any loan move," Ntuli's agent Mandla Mthembu tells KickOff.com.

"We hope that he gets a fair chance like all the other strikers. He's talented enough to make an impact."

After his two outings for Downs, the 27-year-old Ntuli was loaned to AmaZulu in the second half of 2014/15 where he scored six goals in 13 appearances but couldn't help the team avoid relegation.

He then spent the past three seasons on loan at Platinum Stars, who were demoted to the National First Division at the end of this past campaign. Ntuli scored 16 goals in 77 games for Dikwena.

Ntuli will compete for game-time in Tshwane with Cuthbert Malajila, Jeremy Brockie, Yannick Zakri, Sibusiso Vilakazi and new signing Jose Meza from Venezuela.
