Chippa United could loan new signing Ruzaigh Gamildien to Richards Bay FC

Chippa United are considering loaning out new signing Ruzaigh Gamildien before he even kicks a ball for the Absa Premiership side.

KickOff.com understands that the 29-year-old midfielder is not in the plans of recently reappointed United coach Dan Malesela, and may reunite with his former mentor at Cape Town All Stars Brandon Truter at Richards Bay FC.

Malesela in May returned to the Chilli Boys hotseat, taking over the reins from Serbian Vladislav Heric.

“Gamildien was signed during Heric’s tenure and when Dan arrived he’s been told that he won't be part of the coach's plans,” a source close to Richards Bay tells this website.

“This means that Richards Bay could strengthen with an experienced player like him.

“The challenge is that Chippa wants us to pay his full salary but he’s not our property.

“We are currently negotiating a deal where we could possibly go half-half with his salary and that should be a fair deal for both parties.”

The source also says that Bay have released former Santos and Milano United attacker Gregory Roelf.
