Kaizer Chiefs are yet to release a statement on the transfer mix-up of Andriamirado Andrianarimanana

Kaizer Chiefs remain mum on the statement sent by Madagascan club Fosa Juniors, who claim to still own Amakhosi’s new signing Andriamirado “Dax” Andrianarimanana.

Amakhosi spotted the midfielder during the COSAFA Cup and announced his signing last Friday, along with former Mamelodi Sundowns attacker Khama Billiat and Lehlohonolo Mirwa from ABC Motsepe League club Buya Msuthu.

A statement has been doing the rounds on social media, where Fosa Juniors claim that they have not received contact from Chiefs about signing the player. They make it clear that there has been no agreement between the two parties.

Contacted for comment on Thursday afternoon, Chiefs spokesman Vina Maphosa said the club would be releasing a statement, but the club are yet to inform the public of what’s happening. tried to contact Bobby Motaung, but his phone rang unanswered.
