National First Division outfit Witbank Spurs targeting Polokwane City's Randy Ngobe

Posted: 24 June 2018 Time: 08:00

National First Division club Witbank Spurs are ready to pounce should Polokwane City release Randy Ngobe.

Ngobe has seen limited game-time in his two seasons with City, raising doubt the Absa Premiership outfit will enact an option they have on his expiring contract.

Spurs CEO Freddy Mapulane has revealed to KickOff.com he hopes to re-sign the 27-year-old Witbank-born left winger.

"Ja, but now the thing is Polokwane City still have an option to renew his contract," Mapulane tells this website.

"So firstly they must just give us indication on what is it that they are going to do with him.

But ja, we are eyeing him. If ever he is available we will go for him."
