Bloemfontein Celtic assistant coach Lehlohonolo Seema is unsure of what the future holds following the appointment of Steve Komphela as head coach.

Celtic in midweek confirmed Komphela has taken over the reins from Serbian mentor Veselin Jelusic, who recently resigned from the Absa Premiership outfit.

Reports indicated Komphela, who quit Kaizer Chiefs in April after three trophyless seasons at Naturena, would prefer to bring in his own assistant, casting doubt on the fate of Seema and John Maduka.

"I don't know yet," Seema tells KickOff.com.

"They haven't said anything to us, so I don't know. If it happens it happens, you know in football.

"Yes, we are training, he [Komphela] hasn't started yet. But the team hasn't done anything ... as you said it's a rumour so I can't even comment on what I haven't even seen or heard of. I don't have anything to say up until I hear it officially.

"We are still going to training, me and John are still coming to training because we haven't heard anything, so I don't know."
