Mohamed Salah hasn't received any assurances that he'll make his FIFA World Cup debut against hosts Russia tonight despite being 'in good condition'.
According to Cuper, Salah's availability for the second match in Russia will depend on a late fitness test, which occurred during their Monday training session.
The PFA Player of the Year was expected to play a cameo role in the opening fixture against Uruguay but was left on the bench by the Argentine - as they succumbed to a stoppage-time goal from Jose Giminez.
"Salah is in good condition, as we also thought he was against Uruguay, until the final test at the last minute," the Egyptian coach said in the press conference prior to their match with the host country.
"[On Monday] we have an important test, we hope he is ready to play, I think he's very important for us."
The Pharoes take on the Eastern European side at the Saint Petersburg Stadium tonight at 8PM.
