Kermit Erasmus tasted defeat for the first time in Sweden, while Lebo Moloto’s Nashville continued their good form in the USA in a quiet weekend for South African players abroad.

KERMIT ERASMUS
Erasmus’s impressive unbeaten run with Swedish club AFC Ekilstuna was finally ended on Sunday after he featured in his side’s 2-1 loss to Halmstad – his club’s first defeat in 11 games, and the first time the South African has tasted defeat in the nine games he has played since joining the club in March. The loss sees Ekilstuna drop down to third in the Second Division standings after 13 games.

KGAOGELO SEKGOTA
The 20-year-old started his 11th game of the season, playing the full 90 minutes as Lithuanian top-flight club Stumbras returned to league action after almost a month’s break with a 1-0 win at second-placed Zalgiris. Stumbras now sit fifth on the log after 16 games.

MIHLALHI MAYAMBELA
Mayambela has still not made a return to action since being substituted off with an injury on May 19, and was again absent from the squad as Swedish Second Division side Brage registered a 2-1 win over Landskrona, as they sit sixth on the log after 13 games.

LINDO MFEKA
Mfeka made his 10th start of the season, featuring for the entire game as USL side Reno 1868 played out a 2-2 draw with Orange County SC, who sit one place about them on the table. Reno remains seventh in the USL Western Conference log after 15 games.

LEBOGANG MOLOTO
Nashville made it 10 games without defeat, leaving it late after netting in the 94th minute to secure a 1-0 victory over North Carolina, with Moloto playing the full 90 minutes in his 13th game of the campaign. Nashville currently sit fourth in the USL Eastern Conference standings after 13 games.
