TS Galaxy owner Tim Sukazi looking to secure a sponsorship for next season

TS Galaxy owner Tim Sukazi says they will be trying to secure sponsorship for the club before the start of the National First Division season.

Sukazi purchased Cape Town All Stars and will be using the name TS Galaxy

Galaxy, a club which was playing in the ABC Motsepe League previously, will be based in KwaNdebele, Mpumalanga.

With the monthly grant in the First Division being a modest R350 000, getting sponsors will no doubt give Galaxy the boost they need to afford the players they require to survive their first season in the second tier.

“You may not know, our club in KwaNdebele attracted between 4000 and 6000 fans on match day. On a bad day it would be around 4000 and on a good day the stadium is packed to capacity,” Sukazi tells KickOff.com

“If we leverage on that correctly, I think it will be a cause for sponsorship interest. We are looking to do that and, of course, through one’s networks in life, I am talking to some people and a few are showing a good level of appetite. Those discussions will be extended in due course and hopefully we will land a sponsor before the start of the season.”
