Ronaldo explains why Egypt head coach Hector Cuper was the worst coach in his illustrious career

Brazil legend Ronaldo claims current Egypt head coach Hector Cuper was the worst coach he ever had in his career.

The two-time FIFA World Cup winner and former Ballon d'Or recipient spent time under the management of Cuper during his days in Serie A with Internazionale.

In one of football's most icnonic images, the Brazil legend was left in tears in the Inter bench in the final day of the 2001/02 season as they lost the title to Juventus on the final day.

And Ronaldo has still not forgiven the Argentine for his actions.

"My story at Inter ended badly because of him," the Brazilian told Spor TV.

"He continued coaching them though, maybe he has the best agent in the world.

"I was recovering from surgery and I wanted to play, but our relationship wasn't good. I went to ask the President [Massimo Moratti] to choose between me and him.

"In the end I went to play for a wonderful team like Real Madrid, but I can say that Cuper was the worst Coach I ever had in my career."
