Township Rollers have parted ways with former Baroka FC player Tshepo "Skhwama" Matete

Township Rollers have parted ways with two former PSL players, following their league title success in Botswana.

KickOff.com understands that Rollers, who are involved in the CAF Champions League, have terminated the contracts of ex-Baroka FC player Tshepo Matete and Mthokozisi Msomi, formerly of Bidvest Wits.

Matete, commonly known as 'Skwama', was a fan-favourite because of his style of play. He enjoys dribbling opponents, although coach Nikola Kavazovic preferred to use him as a defender.

Msomi was not a regular in the starting line-up for Rollers and it comes as no surprise that they have decided to let him go.

Just recently Rollers parted ways with assistant coach Teenage Mpote, who apparently did not have a good working relationship with head coach Kavazovic.
