Siboniso Gaxa on the way out at Ajax Cape Town, still in contract dispute with Kaizer Chiefs

Siboniso Gaxa is unlikely to be with relegated Ajax Cape Town next season, while he is still challenging his dismissal from Kaizer Chiefs nearly two years ago.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns fullback only played three times for Ajax after joining the club in the January transfer window as a free agent.

The 34-year-old previously had a one-year spell at Bidvest Wits following an acrimonious exit from Amakhosi in July 2016.

"I doubt it if he is still going to be with Ajax next season," says a well-placed source.

"We'll have to see because he is still looking for some PSL action.

"No interest [has been] received yet from other clubs."

Meanwhile, the ex-Bafana Bafana regular remains at odds with the Glamour Boys. He believes he still had two years left on his contract with the Soweto giants at the time of his departure from Naturena. SAFA's arbitrators were called in after the PSL DRC ruled in favour of Chiefs over the matter.

"Yeah that one is not dead yet, it's still ongoing," adds the informant.
