Thabo Matlaba, Mpho Makola and Bernard Morrison are among those tipped for an exit at Orlando Pirates as the club makes space for new signings.
Others that look to be on the way out are Nkosinathi Mthiyane and Thamsanqa Sangweni, while Mark van Heerden, Lehlohonolo Mtshali and Jackson Mabokgwane could go out on loan.
According to a source close to the Buccaneers, Senegalese midfielder Issa Sarr also risks facing the axe to free up a foreign quota spot.
"Pirates is currently finalising the transfer list and it might be released this week," says the informant.
"The problem at the moment is that the club is still talking to some other clubs with the intention to place some of their players on loan."
Contrary to reports, striker Thamsanqa Gabuza is set to remain with the Soweto giants.
Pirates, who are keeping tabs on Zambian forward Lazarous Kambole, on Monday confirmed the capture of Brilliant Khuzwayo, Vincent Pule, Ben Motshwari, Asavela Mbekile, Linda Mntambo, Paseka Mako, Abel Mabaso, Meschack Maphangule and Kudakwashe Mahachi.
