Lucky Mohomi feels Oupa Manyisa has added value to Mamelodi Sundowns

Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Lucky Mohomi has hailed the signing of Oupa Manyisa despite the fact that it means more competition for him.
Manyisa made a big move from Orlando Pirates to Sundowns before the start of the 2017/18 campaign, adding to an already star-studded midfield at Chloorkop.
His arrival meant more competition in central midfield, but Mohomi’s challenge to get into the starting line-up became even harder when he sustained a knee injury, which kept him out for most of the first half of the season.
When Mohomi returned to full fitness in January, he struggled to get into the team as Tiyani Mabunda and Hlompho Kekana formed a solid partnership, while Manyisa provided adequate cover.
“We beefed up the squad and brought in guys like Oupa. I am learning a lot from a guy like him and I know my time will come and I will surely get a chance,” Mohomi told KickOff.com.
“The addition of 'Ace' [Manyisa] was something good for the team. He was playing at Orlando Pirates, so he had to learn the ropes first. It’s not easy to break the partnership which 'Keke' and 'Shuga' have. They have been great for the team, so he had to work like me.
“The season has ended, so I have to worry about what’s coming next season.”
Mohomi made just two appearances for Sundowns last season and is determined to make a bigger impact next term.
