Former Bafana Bafana assistant coach Serame Letsoaka has taken up a new position with the Botswana national team.
It has been confirmed that Letsoaka has become The Zebras' new technical director, after signing a three-year deal with the Botswana FA.
The former Free State Stars, Bloemfontein Celtic and Golden Arrows mentor has been without a job since being sacked at Ea Lla Koto in June last year.
Letsoaka also served as assistant to Gordon Igesund with the South African national team 2012 and 2014.
Coincidentally, Bafana will be coming up against Botswana in the COSAFA Cup Plate final on Friday evening, but it is unlikely that the 54-year-old tactician will have any influence given the proximity of the clash.
The Zebras are currently under the tutelage of former army major David Bright, with the team ranked 136th according to the latest FIFA World Rankings released on June 7.
