Golden Arrows have agreed new terms with proven striker Lerato Lamola.

Lamola was his club's top scorer this past season with nine goals in all competitions for Clinton Larsen's side, which secured a second straight top-eight finish in the league.

The 31-year-old previously illustrated his value upfront when he narrowly missed out on bagging the PSL Golden Boot with 13 goals in 2014/15 - one goal shy of winner Moeketsi Sekola.

"Obviously Lamola will be at the club next season. And to clear that up we are agreed on the new terms," Arrows chairperson Mato Madlala tells in short.

Lamola initially joined the Durban-based outfit in 2016 on a two-year deal after leaving Bloemfontein Celtic.

Abafana Bes'thende also recently extended the stay of Malawian defender Limbikini Mzava, but Kudakwashe Mahachi is heading to Orlando Pirates, while fellow Zimbabwean attacker Thomas Chideu has been released.
