As we continue with our 2018 FIFA World Cup countdown, and with just ten days to go, KickOff.com looks at three of the best number 10's expected to set Russia 2018 alight.

Our top three number 10's celebrating 10 days to go until kick-off are as follows.

1. Neymar Jr.

Position: Forward

Nationality: Brazil

Age: 26

The Brazil attacking talisman expected to lead the Selecao to World Cup glory in Russia has recently returned to fitness after nearly four months on the sidelines.

The current world-record transfer holder impressed during his debut season with Paris Saint-Germain with 28 goals and 19 assists in 30 games.

A tricky forward with a low centre of gravity, Neymar will be the key figure to unlock defences for the South American giants.

2. Lionel Messi 

Position: Forward/Playmaker

Nationality: Argentina

Age: 30

Widely considered as one of the best players of all time, Messi will be looking to add the elusive FIFA World Cup honour to his already decorated list of triumphs.

The FC Barcelona club-record scorer enjoyed an incredible season, finishing as the overall top scorer in Europe's top-five leagues across all competitions - while walking away with the European Golden Shoe.

Overall, Messi scored 45 goals and registered 18 assists in 54 games.

3. Sadio Mane 

Position: Forward

Nationality: Senegal

Age: 26

A central figure in Liverpool's UEFA Champions League final run with 10 goals including one in the final defeat to Real Madrid.

Mane provides Senegal with blistering pace all across the forward line due to his versatility.

With 20 goals and nine assists in 44 games across all competitions this season, the Teranga Lions number 10 will be looking to maintain his sublime form and cause damage in Group H against Poland, Colombia and Japan.
