Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Jabulani Mendu looks set to resurface as an assistant coach at Baroka FC.
The Limpopo-based outfit are poised to unveil another ex-Chiefs player in Wedson Nyirenda as their new head coach following the departure of Kgoloko Thobejane and caretaker coach MacDonald Makhubedu last term.
Amakhosi legend Doctor Khumalo ended 2017/18 as interim coach of Bakgaga, but will revert to a technical director role for his second season with the club.
According to a source close to the Absa Premiership side, Mendu will join the team for pre-season training in Polokwane in three weeks.
Club CEO Morgan Mammila would only go as far as to say he is in talks with Mendu but confirmed Nyirenda is on his way.
"We [are] talking ... but there is nothing concrete," Mammila tells KickOff.com.
"Yes, he [Nyirenda] is coming," he adds.
