Golden Arrows extend contract of Limbikani Mzava

Posted: 1 June 2018 Time: 13:30

Golden Arrows have exercised a one-year option on the contract of defender Limbikani Mzava.

The Malawian initially joined Arrows amid rival interest from Orlando Pirates in 2016 from Mpumalanga Black Aces, having previously played under Abafana Bes'thende coach Clinton Larsen at Bloemfontein Celtic.

"Yes, I've extended my contract but we took the one-year option that was there at the beginning when I signed with the club in 2016," Mzava tells KickOff.com from Blantyre.

Mzava played the most league matches for Arrows this past season with 29 appearances, scoring twice from the spot at Princess Magogo Stadium.

The 24-year-old featured at right-back ahead of Siyabonga Dube for the Durban-based outfit, which secured a second straight top-eight finish.
