'The ball is in Andile Jali's court'

Orlando Pirates have reportedly left the ball in Andile Jali's court regarding a possible return to Mayfair.

The Bafana Bafana midfielder has been linked with the Big Three since parting ways with Belgian side Oostende as a free agent in April.

According to City Press, Jali met with Pirates chairman Irvin Khoza to discuss a potential deal with the Sea Robbers.

"He was here and we had a good discussion. Now the ball is in his court," Khoza is quoted as saying.

"He said he will come back to us and we are waiting to hear from him."

The 28-year-old Jali played for Bucs from 2009 to 2014 before heading abroad.

Pirates have been linked with several possible signings, with Linda Mntambo and Paseko Mako believed to be part of the deal that saw Gift Motupa join Chippa United recently.
