Ex-Baroka goalkeeper Oscarine Masuluke is yet to hear from Kaizer Chiefs if he made the grade during his short trial at Naturena.
According to a source close to the player, Masuluke was told to stop training with Amakhosi without any explanation from the club.
“As you know at the moment Oscarine is not training with Chiefs, he stopped,” the informant tells KickOff.com.
“The boy is still waiting for the club to give him a call. His agent will update him once something comes up, but there's nothing on the table from Chiefs at the moment.
“Oscarine has been there, there is a possibility of him joining the club next season. It's just that there are lot of changes happening at the football club currently, but Masuluke's agent is expected to speak to Bobby [Motaung] this week."
Amakhosi are in the market to find a goalkeeper who can replace the departed Brilliant Khuzwayo, who may be heading to Soweto rivals Orlando Pirates.
Jody February of Ajax Cape Town is said to be an option Amakhosi are considering as a back-up for captain Itumeleng Khune.
Masuluke's agent Paul Mitchell could not be reached for comment.
