Free State Stars and Baroka are interested in Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC duo Monde Mpambaniso and Themba Ndlovu.
The skilful Mpambaniso, who joined the Limpopo side from Acornbush United in August last year, has also been linked with a move to Soweto giants Orlando Pirates.
After winning the 2017 Varsity Cup Golden Boot and Player of the Tournament awards, Ndlovu landed himself a contract at TTM and may now find himself playing Absa Premiership football next season.
According to a reliable source at TTM, Stars and Baroka have made contact with the players.
"For now we still have all our players with us as we are having the [club] awards on the ninth of June," the source tells KickOff.com.
"Even when we were in Free State playing Super Eagles, Free State [Stars] wanted those two boys. But we said, 'No, we can't just talk and talk'. Their technical director was watching our game and he asked 'how can I get these boys?' We said, 'No, if you are taking these boys you are going to play them in the MDC, we are not going to release them'. We need our boys to go straight to the PSL and we are not going to stop them. That's what our president [Lawrence Mulaudzi] told them.
"Even Baroka, they are always enquiring about Monde but we keep telling them they must come back to us in a formal way."
The Venda side finished a creditable sixth in their first season in the National First Division.
