Outgoing Golden Arrows midfielder Jabulani Shongwe says he is still waiting to hear from his agent on where is he going to be playing his football next term.
Shongwe, who joined Abafana Bes'thende on loan from Bidvest Wits in August 2017, will become a free agent when his contract with the Clever Boys expires next month.
The 28-year-old helped Arrows secure a top-eight finish this season, scoring twice and providing as many assists in 21 outings in all competitions in 2017/18.
“At the moment I am still in Durban, I will know everything once I have a meeting with my agent [Jazzman Mahlakgane] in Jozi soon, ” Shongwe tells KickOff.com.
“But at this moment my contract is finished. We will see, but at this moment I don't know. My contract is finished, I will sit down with my agent and see what goes. I did speak to him but I'm flying back to Jozi, so that's when we will be able to sit down and talk.
“I really don't know where I will be playing next season, anything is possible in my situation. But it's not about money, it's about the happiness of playing football. At Arrows it was nice to be honest.”
Shongwe has in the past been linked with Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.
