Brazilians looking for perfect finish

Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Denis Onyango is wary of a Bloemfontein Celtic side looking to spoil the party for the newly crowned Absa Premiership champions.

Celtic have a chance of finishing in the top eight, so they will not lie down and play dead when they host the former African champions at Dr Molemela Stadium on Saturday afternoon (15h00).

Celtic are in ninth place on 36 points, level with eighth-placed Chippa United who have a superior goal difference.

Sundowns, meanwhile, will be looking to get a victory before lifting the coveted trophy for a third time under the tutelage of coach Pitso Mosimane.

“We take every game as serious as possible as a team, we have our targets and processes, so we need to finish off well and get our process done. Our process says we needed to win our last five games and we have only drawn one against Maritburg and we won the others. We don’t want to finish off on the losing side, so we are focused on the game,” Onyango tells KickOff.com

“We know it’s not going to be easy because Celtic are trying to get into the top eight. Maybe they’ll think because we’ve won the league we will take it easy. No, we are going to take the game to them.”
