Bloemfontein Celtic will square off against their former striker Geofrey Massa at the PSL DRC today over a money dispute.
Massa says he is owed R400 000 from Celtic, according to information supplied by his legal representative Keith McAdam of Lee and McAdam Attorneys.
Massa penned a deal with Celtic on July 29, 2015, and when his contract was terminated a year later, Phunya Sele Sele are said to have agreed to pay the Ugandan a settlement of R600 000 on or before August 30, 2016.
The payment was to be made in instalments – the first of which was R200 000 and being paid together with his July salary on or before July 31, 2016.
The second instalment of R400 000 was due on or before August 31, 2016 with an additional fee of R20 000 paid to his representative as an agency fee on or before July 31, 2016.
However, Massa's camp say he is yet to receive the second instalment, forcing him to take the legal route.
KickOff.com tried to get comment from Celtic on the matter without success.
Massa now plays his football in Cyprus.
