Former Supersport United head coach Eric Tinkler has confirmed that he has received offers from North African clubs.
The 47-year-old Bafana Bafana legend parted ways with Matsatsantsa in March after a difficult run of Absa Premiership games following their CAF Confederation Cup defeat to TP Mazembe in November last year.
The former Orlando Pirates mentor, who played against North African sides Zamalek, Etoile du Sahel and Esperance during his time with the Buccaneers, and is currently weighing up his options.
"That is true, but [I'm] not at liberty to give details as the season is still running. Any questions speak to my agent." Tinkler tells KickOff.com.
Speaking to Tinkler's agent Vasili Barbis, he confirmed that there are negotiations taking place between Tinkler and two undisclosed North African sides. He says details will be revealed in due course.
"Yes, at the moment we are just discussing. At the moment there's two clubs from North Africa that are interested in him. We don't want to disclose anything just yet. But I can confirm that we are talking to two teams and we will notify the public,” Barbis explains.
