Orlando Pirates winger Luvuyo Memela is in danger of missing the team's last game of the season against Free State Stars at Orlando Stadium on May 12.
Memela is set to see a specialist after damaging his knee in the 1-0 defeat to Cape Town City at Cape Town Stadium on Saturday.
Bucs have already secured a return to CAF Champions League football with a runners-up finish behind newly-crowned champions Mamelodi Sundowns.
Pirates provided an update on Memela and the progress of Thabiso Kutumela and Mthokozisi Dube in a statement on the club's website, which reads: 'The defeat to Cape Town City over the past weekend wasn’t without any casualties.
'Attacking winger Luvuyo Memela - one of Pirates' best performers of the season, suffered a injury which could potentially see him ruled out for the last match of the season against Free State Stars.
'According to the Bucs’ medical staff, the 30-year old has suffered a knee strain and will be sent to a specialist to assess the full extent of his injury.
'Meanwhile, in other injury news, Thabiso Kutumela continues to undergo his first phase of rehabilitation and is said to be progressing well.
'Right-back Mthokozisi Dube has recovered from his groin strain and is now currently working with the strength and conditioning team.'
