Confirmed Line-Ups: UEFA Champions League, Liverpool vs AS Roma

Posted: 24 April 2018 Time: 19:32

Liverpool forward and European Golden Shoe leader Mohamed Salah will look to dump his former side AS Roma out the UEFA Champions League tonight - here are the confirmed line-ups of both sides.

Salah has scored 41 goals in 46 appearances for Liverpool and was recently named Professional Footballers' Association Player of the Year, the Egyptian ace is also in contention to break a historic record.

Five-time winners Liverpool are attempting to reach a Champions League final for the first time since 2007 but face an unpredictable Roma side who overcame FC Barcelona in dramatic fashion in the last-eight round.

However, Roma head coach Eusebio di Francesco admits the Reds are a totally different proposition to the Blaugrana.

"Liverpool are different to Barcelona in terms of pace and we need to play well to win and have even more of a team-mentality," he said in the pre-match press conference, as quoted by Sky Sports.

Meanwhile, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp feels the squad versatility of the Italian side is their major advantage but concedes the hostile Anfield atmosphere may pay dividends over the tie.

"Nobody thought after the first result that they can have the kind of comeback against Barcelona because it's not usually possible," said Klopp, as quoted by BBC Football.

"They can make seven or eight changes for their last league game and look comfortable and win which is a big advantage. But then being at Anfield is an advantage to us as well."

Here is how both teams will line up:

Liverpool: Karius; Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Lovren, Robertson; Milner, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Henderson; Salah, Mane, Firmino.

AS Roma: Alisson; Fazio, Manolas, Jesus; Florenzi, De Rossi, Strootman, Kolarov; Under, Nainggolan, Dzeko.
