Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates and Ajax Cape Town are among the clubs that have key personnel suspended for the next round of Absa Premiership action.
Ajax tonight host Baroka in a must-win game at Athlone Stadium, but will be without striker Fagrie Lakay - placing more pressure on fellow loan recruit Yannick Zakri to impress upfront for the relegation-threatened outfit.
On Wednesday, log leaders Sundowns and sole title challengers Pirates take on Maritzburg United and outgoing champions Bidvest Wits respectively.
The Brazilians are minus Uruguayan attacker Gaston Sirino, while Maritzburg will be missing Rushine de Reuck at Harry Gwala Stadium. Sirino was sent off after scoring his first goal for the club in a 3-1 loss to the Team of Choice in the Nedbank Cup semi-finals over the weekend.
The Buccaneers will be without offensive midfielder Mpho Makola for the visit of Wits to Orlando Stadium. The match will be played behind closed doors due to unruly fan behaviour during Bucs' 6-0 loss to Downs last season, but will still be televised.
Meanwhile, AmaZulu will have to make do without defender Mbongeni Gumede when they travel to bottom-placed Platinum Stars tomorrow.
