SA Players Abroad wrap: Mihlali Mayambela on target, Kamohelo Mokotjo bags an assist

Brentford are now seven games unbeaten, and kept their promotion play-off berth hopes alive with a 2-1 win over QPR, with Mokotjo bagging an assist for his side’s winning goal, four minutes after coming on as a substitute. Brentford are now just a point off a play-off spot with two games left in the campaign.

It’s now 11 games without a win for LOSC Lille, who suffered a humiliating 5-1 defeat at the hands of Marseille on Saturday. Phiri came on for the last 11 minutes for his 20th appearance of the campaign as Guingamp earned a memorable 3-1 win over AS Monaco, leaving them 10th in Ligue One after 34 games.

The 20-year-old started his fourth game of the season, playing the full 90 minutes as Lithuanian club Stumbras drew 1-1 away at Zalgiris, leaving them sixth on the log after nine games played.

Singh started his 31st game of the season as Sporting Braga II drew 2-2 with Academico Viseu, II, leaving them 16th in the league, two points above a relegation play-off spot with three games left in the campaign.

Zungu played the full 90 minutes for his 23rd appearance of the season as Amiens earned a much-needed 3-1 win over Strasbourg, lifting them up to 13th on the log - 11 points away from the relegation zone with four games left in the campaign.
