Bayern Munich, who are on course for a sensational treble, has been described as the only team left in the UEFA Champions League that can stop Real Madrid.
Bayern secured their 27th Bundesliga title two weeks back and confirmed their place in the DFB-Pokal final on Tuesday - after thrashing Bayer Leverkusen 6-2.
Die Rotten have returned to their clinical best under the management of Jupp Heynckes since succeeding Carlo Ancelotti in October last year.
The 72-year-old has overseen 30 victories in 34 games across all competitions this season, within his fourth stint at the club. And the German giants have returned to the free-scoring outfit feared amongst Europe.
Now, with a place in the semi-final of the UEFA Champions League, general manager Karl-Heinz Rummenigge claims they are the only side left in the competition with enough proven quality to prevent Real from a third successive Champions League title.
"We have to stay focused until Wednesday," he said to Sport Bild. "When we play in the Champions League, if there is one team that can beat Real Madrid, it's Bayern."
