Hadebe snatches victory for Chiefs

Teenage Hadebe scored a stoppage-time goal to help Kaizer Chiefs to a 1-0 win against Free State Stars at Goble Park.
It was an eventful first half from Ea La koto and Amakhosi, despite the lack of goals on the night.
As early as the fourth minute, Hendrik Ekstein threatened an opener but his shot flew just wide of the upright.
Thirteen minutes into the half, Paulus Masehe produced a powerful shot from range, which needed Itumeleng Khune to tip the ball over the bar.
As the 30th minute mark approached, both sides had sightings at goal but with no clear-cut chances.
That proved to be the trend for the rest of the first-half as neither side could manage to break the deadlock.
Stars looked to go in front just one minute after the restart when Siphelele Mthembu got through on goal only to hit the side netting.
Stars foraged forward in the dying minutes but Khune was equal to their efforts as a draw seem destined for both sides.
However, Hadebe then dramatically snatched the winning goal with a header from Simphiwe Tshabalala’s corner with virtually the last move of the game.
