Downs can't take their eyes off Mntambo

There’s a Chippa United midfielder Mamelodi Sundowns will need to look out for when the sides meet in the Absa Premiership tonight.
Linda Mntambo, who joined the Chilli Boys from National First Division side Jomo Cosmos in January, did not struggle to settle into the new enrivonment, despite joining the team halfway through the season.
As the Chilli Boys prepare to take on Sundowns in a game they need to win, Mntambo is the man they can turn to for inspiration in the middle of the park.
A win tonight would give 11th placed Chippa, who are on 30 points, some breathing room and they could move up into the top eight.
Kickoff at Loftus is at 19h30.
"It's an important fixture for us just like any other," Mntambo tells KickOff.com.
"We need every point we can get to be safe from the relegation zone. We are prepared well and can't wait for kickoff. We just need to focus on ourselves now, which means sticking to the game plan and working as a collective to get positive results. Teams have visited them at Loftus and managed to get points, so what's stopping us?"
Mntambo says he doesn't agree with those who say Chippa players will befresher than their opponents because they last played a competitive game on March 17, a 1-0 league victory over Free State Stars. Sundowns, meanwhile, were involved in Nedbank Cup action in the Mother City against Cape Town City on Sunday.
"We've been training very hard. They are a team that has depth, so I don't think that would be a problem for them.”
Mntambo says he credits his good performances at Chippa to the warm welcome he received.
"It's all thanks to my teammates for the warm welcome, and helping me adjust as quick as possible. It already feels like home. I'm happy to contribute to the team whenever I'm given a chance."
