PSL explain Nedbank Cup semi-final draw procedure

The Premier Soccer League have explained the procedure for the Nedbank Cup semi-finals draw, which will take place this weekend.

Tthe league have confirmed that the semi-final fixture draw will take place immediately after the final quartefinal between Cape Town City and Mamelodi Sundowns on Sunday evening.

City will be hosting the Brazilians at the Cape Town Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 15h00, and the draw will then take place directly after the final whistle.

The draw will be conducted by draw master Luxolo September as well as Prof. Ronnie Schloss and a Nedbank Cup representative, and will be broadcasted live on SuperSport and SABC.

Nedbank Cup semifinal draw procedure:

-       All four clubs will be placed in one pot

-       There will be no seeding 

-       In each sequence, the first ball to be drawn will be the home club and the second ball will be their opponent, the away club

-       This process will be repeated until all semi-final fixtures are finalized.
