Despite declaring his desire to return to the PSL next season, midfielder Andile Jali has attracted interest from European clubs.
Jali’s contract with Belgian side KV Oostende is set to expire in June and Supersport united, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns have made enquiries about the availability of the Bafana Bafana midfielder next season.
KickOff.com has since learnt that two unnamed teams from France and Sweden have expressed strong interest to land the signature of Jali and are making a serious effort to bring him on board. It could be difficult for them, though, as Jali has his heart set on being close to his family in South Africa.
"More offers are pouring in for Andile in Europe,” a source close to the player reveals.
“It remains to be seen if will be tempted to remain in Europe again next season,” he adds.
"Jali has put his family first and it’s difficult to change his mind at this moment. If he comes back to South Africa, there is a great possibility that will sign for either Sundowns or Pirates.”
Jali has refused to talk about his future as he focuses on recovering from his knee injury.
"At the moment I am concentrating with the rehabilitation on my injury. Please speak to my agent,” said Jali.
Jali is expected to return to Belgium this week to complete his rehabilitation program and resume training with Oostende.
